Australian Subsea Business Awards

Nominations are now open!

Have you or someone in your network made a real contribution to the subsea and ocean-based industry this past year? Now’s the time to put that work forward.

The Subsea Business Awards are one of the best opportunities we have as an industry to acknowledge the people and organisations doing genuinely good work. This year’s awards span our three core pillars, PeopleIndustry Excellence, and Australian Industry Participation and we’d encourage everyone in our network to nominate.

Nominations for the 2026 Subsea Business Awards are open from 12 June to 9 July.

Craig Black Award for Innovation and Technology

Recognises  a product, service, or technology within the Australian subsea and ocean-based sector that has successfully entered the market in FY26, driving industry growth or opening new capability.

Nominate now – Craig Black Award

If innovation and technology are at the core of what your company does, we’d love to talk to you about sponsoring this award.

Subsea Circularity & Low‑Impact Operations Award

For organisations or individuals making a tangible contribution to the circular economy — whether through reducing energy consumption and waste, designing lower-impact products or services, or implementing remote and autonomous operations. Nominations must relate to a specific project or initiative developed and/or implemented in Australia.

Nominate now – Subsea Circularity & Low-impact Award

If sustainability and low-impact operations are part of your company’s commitments, consider sponsoring this award.

Emerging Talent Award

For individuals early in their career who are already making their mark – through innovation, impact, or the kind of potential that’s hard to ignore. This award is about spotting and recognising future industry leaders before they’re obvious.

Nominate now – Emerging Talent Award

If developing the next generation of industry talent matters to your organisation, sponsoring this award is a great way to show it.

Australia Industry Participation (AIP) Award

Celebrates organisations or initiatives that have genuinely moved the needle on Australian industry participation — through better visibility of opportunities, early and structured engagement with local suppliers, or practical collaboration across industry and government. Tangible outcomes matter: increased local scopes, capability uplift, and supply chain resilience.

Nominate now – AIP Award

If supporting Australian industry is central to how your organisation operates, this award sponsorship is worth a conversation.

WISE Award: Women in Subsea Energy

For individuals making a lasting difference to the advancement of women in the subsea energy sector – through leadership, mentorship, technical or commercial contribution, and a clear vision for a more inclusive industry.

Nominate now – WISE Award

This award is proudly sponsored by Technip FMC

Company of the Year Award
Recognises  companies that have backed local businesses, communities, and economies across the subsea energy and ocean-based sector – whether as equipment manufacturers, service providers, or in any other role that has contributed to the industry’s  growth.
